Alice Marchant

Hi! I'm Alice, a hands-on designer currently living in sunny Bournemouth.

I love typography, film photography and living by the beach. I am driven by ethical and sustainable design, and I will always aim to make a positive change in the world through my creative practice.

I’m currently in my second year studying Graphic Design at Arts University Bournemouth. I’ve recently completed a collaborative live branding project for Wessex Museums to engage a younger audience with the life and work of Thomas Hardy. We received positive feedback from the clients and were delighted to have our work shortlisted.

I enjoy a hands-on approach to design and love branching out from my course to broaden my skillset - recently I've learnt book-binding, laser cutting and different forms of printmaking. I also enjoy working digitally - I am proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and After Effects, and I’ve recently begun to learn HTML and CSS in order to build this website in under a month!

When I’m not busy designing, you’ll find me in an art gallery or working at my local cowboy-themed restaurant.

I am always searching for new opportunities, experiences and collaborations, so please feel free to get in touch!
